Dr. Cristobal has been practicing full time in Fort Worth since 2008 and offers vast experience treating problems of the ear and skull base, including unilateral and bilateral hearing loss, chronically draining ears, balance disorders, facial nerve problems, and skull base tumors. He completed a general surgery internship at the University of California, Los Angeles and subsequently graduated from the prestigious otolaryngology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He then relocated to Houston, where he completed his Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine’s Bobby R. Alford Department of Otolaryngology.

Remaining in Los Angeles, Dr. Cristobal received his doctoral degree in Neurobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles. He also studied internationally, earning his medical degree from the University of Navarra School of Medicine in Pamplona, Navarra, Spain.

As Fort Worth's only full-time neurotologist, Dr. Cristobal holds specialized training in the inner ear and balance conditions.

When not treating patients, Dr. Cristobal focuses on his research. He is currently studying hearing outcomes with implantable hearing devices, as well as the management of sudden hearing loss.
